masterpiece of swirling electronica, catchy upbeat tracks and
wonderful, uplifting stadium anthems. It shows
THIS.PLAYs craft: filtered, distilled and
purified. Pumping synths, the deep croon of the lead vocals and
crystal clear electronic effects all float gracefully over pounding
bass lines.
All 15 tracks are written, performed and produced by
THIS.PLAY. The album sets the style for all
subsequent THIS.PLAY performances:
synthesizer-led, electro-dance-pop compositions, always co-written
by the duo and highlighted by Vinnie's harmonic vocal style,
heavily reminiscent of Philip Oakey (Human League).
